Bus Transfers To and From Eisenhower National Airport

Bus transport is Wichita’s public transit system that offers 17 routes.

The metro is served by bus companies such as Wichita Transit, the National Greyhound Service, four charter bus companies, and the free Wichita Q-Line for downtown transportation.

Wichita Transit maintains a fleet of 51 buses compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and 26 wheelchair-lift vehicles.

All regular Wichita Transit buses feature free Wi-Fi access and bicycle racks.

The bus transit also recorded about two million fixed-route trips and more than 320,000 paratransit trips annually.

The city also operates the Q-Line shuttles traversing downtown Wichita and neighboring areas in connection with the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation’s services, mainly during recreational days, evenings and weekends, and conventions.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, Wichita Transit had a ridership of 768,800.

The standard bus fare for an Adult Single Ride is $1.75; Half-Fare Single Ride costs $0.85; for Youth ages 6 to 18 with valid I.D., $1.50; and for children ages five and below are free.
